Four Diode Dynamics Infrared Lighting Options at Prolightz

Prolightz now carries four types of Diode Dynamics infrared lighting: the Infrared Follow-Me Combination Light, SSC1 Dual Infrared/White LED Pod, C1 Infrared Standard, and SS3 Infrared Standard. Each serves a different purpose, from identifying a vehicle through night vision equipment to providing forward infrared illumination.

Infrared Follow-Me Combination Light

The Infrared Follow-Me Combination Light displays a three-point infrared pattern that helps identify the vehicle ahead when viewed through compatible night vision equipment. It is intended as a vehicle reference light rather than a forward driving-light beam.

The light has high and low infrared modes, with dimming for further adjustment. It is offered in 850nm or 940nm and as a single light or a pair. Its drill-mount design includes a removable inner jam nut for thicker mounting surfaces. The listing also specifies a Deutsch DT 3-Pin connection and IP67 intrusion protection. Mounting nuts, external gaskets, a pigtail and DIY wiring are included.

SSC1 Dual Infrared/White LED Pod

The SSC1 Dual Infrared/White LED Pod places two C1 pods side by side in one bezel. One side provides infrared illumination; the other provides visible white light with a red backlight. This is one combined assembly, rather than two separately mounted lights.

Both sides use a Wide beam pattern. The infrared side is available in 850nm or 940nm and has high and low modes, along with PWM and variable-voltage dimming. The package includes one dual assembly, a U-bracket and mounting hardware.

C1 Infrared Standard

The compact C1 is available as a single pod or a pair. Unlike the Dual model, these are dedicated infrared pods without a visible white-light side.

The C1 offers Spot for focused illumination, Wide for general coverage, or Flood for broad nearby coverage. Sport and Pro power levels are listed, as are 850nm and 940nm wavelength selections. High and low infrared modes, PWM and variable-voltage dimming provide output control. Each package includes mounting brackets and hardware for the number of pods supplied.

SS3 Infrared Standard

The SS3 is also available as a single pod or a pair. Its Combo beam blends forward reach with lateral coverage. The listings offer Sport and Pro power levels, 850nm and 940nm selections, and high and low infrared modes with PWM and variable-voltage dimming.
