Overview
Add purpose-built infrared illumination to your night vision setup with the Diode Dynamics SS3 IR LED Pod. Its Combo beam balances width and distance for forward illumination, with selectable high and low output to suit the scene ahead.
Purpose-Built Infrared. OSRAM infrared emitters and an IR-filtering lens deliver illumination for compatible night vision equipment. Unlike a visible-light SS3, both output modes are infrared: high for primary illumination and low when less output is needed.
Balanced Coverage. The Combo pattern provides a blend of forward reach and lateral coverage. It is a practical choice for primary vehicle-mounted IR illumination without choosing a dedicated Spot or Flood pattern.
Sport and Pro. Choose Sport or Pro to suit the output requirements of your setup. Each power level retains selectable high and low IR modes.
Controlled Output. High and low IR modes provide control over illumination as the surroundings change. PWM and variable-voltage dimming allow further adjustment, helping you match the output to your equipment and the scene rather than relying on maximum output at all times.
Choose Your Wavelength. 850nm produces a more noticeable faint red glow at the emitter, while 940nm offers a lower visible signature. Night vision devices respond differently to each wavelength, so select the wavelength supported by your equipment rather than choosing by wavelength alone.
Built for Your Setup. The light operates on 9-16V systems and uses a Deutsch DT 4-Pin connection. Two pods supplied in this package. The red wire controls high IR output, and the blue wire controls low IR output.

Infrared Safety. Infrared output may not be visible to the naked eye. Do not look directly into an operating infrared light.
